Biography
Lavar McCall-Mathews, is a designer from Atlantic City, New Jersey and has been developing his style and skills in design since 2014. His goal as a designer is to work in the entertainment industry and use his skills to create content for television, film, and music production. Lavar is currently a senior at Bowie State University seeking a B.S. in Visual Communication & Digital Media Arts with a concentration in Advertising Design and minor in Marketing. He has experience designing flyers, logos, commercial art, videos, album covers for music, and small businesses. Currently, Lavar is a design intern at HBCU Grad and MegaMind Media. Lavar has designed flyers, interviews, movie trailers, and social media ads, and more.

Magazines
The theme of my senior exhibition is to inform people about Bowie State University by allowing alumni to share their experience about Bowie State University. This project is about giving students and alumni the opportunity to share their experiences at Bowie State University. My purpose is to give a voice to the university community and through a magazine as well as supporting content. I also want to put a spotlight on my university and let the students, alumni, and the public know the history, legacy, and power of Bowie State University.
